Students that attend classes on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays work towards exams with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD).

The ISTD is a recognised board which is standardised and UCAS points can be awarded from Grade 6. It is a great opportunity and experience for the students and the whole day has a real sense of occasion.

Extra Classes

All Children taking their exams in the summer term are greatly encouraged to take a second class this term. While I do understand other commitments and scheduling, please do try and get the children to any of the classes that work. Second classes will be charged at £5 on a pay as you go basis.

Please see link below with our most up to date timetable and attend any classes that are the same level – for example Grade 1 Ballet, you could attend Thursdays at 4:00 and 11:15 on a Saturday.

Extra classes for modern and tap, will be added on an ad hoc basis depending on studio and my schedule availability.

Help

Please remember we will be dependent on parent and student volunteers/helpers. So much goes into the exam weekends behind the scenes so help on the day is absolutely essential.

We will need some helpers with hair (as you can see from the picture, it has to be immaculate!), a music operator and keeping the examiners sweet and full of tea and biscuits!

Exams have been invoiced and need to be paid for by the 19th May.
