Mini Modern and Tap

Our Mini Modern & Tap classes are a fun and exciting introduction to two fantastic styles of dance, designed for Reception-aged children and upwards. Classes combine the energy and rhythm of Tap with the creativity, expression and performance of Modern Theatre.

Through imaginative exercises and age-appropriate technique, children develop coordination, musicality, balance, strength and body control while gaining confidence in their movement. Our classes encourage children to explore their own creativity and personality while learning the foundations of dance in a fun and supportive environment.

From learning their first tap steps to performing fun Modern combinations, every class is designed to keep children moving, learning and smiling! As they progress, children can also work towards ISTD examinations, giving them a sense of achievement and a goal to work towards.

Minimum age: 4 years old
Minimum shoes size: Child size 6
