About DancePro Academy
A little bit about us…
DancePro Academy brings the love of dance and performing arts to all its students, aged 3 to young adults. The Academy first opened its doors in 2013 and offers term-time classes in many genres for children and teens, including baby ballet for students as young as 3 years. Dance classes include Ballet, Tap, Modern, Commercial (Street), Musical Theatre including exams with the ISTD syllabus/faculty and drama exams with Lamda. We also offer Toddler Time classes (with their parent/carer) which help develop creativity and imaginative play where your child can learn through fun and creative exercises and activities through music and dance.

DancePro Academy Founder, Gill Grueber guarantees to keep classes fresh, fun and creative whilst always maintaining a professional standard. At the Academy, it is extremely important to continue spreading the love of performing to everyone believing the skills learned in class can be used throughout life and not just within the studio.
Posture, core strength, eye contact, coordination and kinaesthetic awareness are all important attributes in every walk of life. The aim is to encourage children to achieve their personal best whilst enjoying their love of dance.
Our Approach…
DancePro Academy believes that students will benefit greatly from attending our classes. Not only can students see and enjoy time with their friends and maintain a healthy lifestyle, it adds structure to their day and is so good for mental health and wellbeing. Moving physically and concentrating on something else, allows young adults to get out of their own head and think about something different.
So many different feelings and emotions can be experienced and felt through dance such as excitement, nervous, fear, satisfaction, gratification, achievement and the feeling of being part of a community and dance family. We understand the importance of children being able to express their feelings and emotions and are able to do this through performance and dance.

We Welcome all…
Our classes welcome all children and young adults regardless of age, gender or ability. We aim to accommodate children who wish to attend as a hobby and for those who would like to pursue a career in the profession.
Most classes are suitable for children with additional needs; however ability, focus and concentration are considered. As children grow and progress through the classes, a ‘one to one’ may be required which we can try to provide at a small additional fee of £5.
The level of expectation also increases as children grow and we could work on a plan to create reasonable expectations personal to your child. Children with additional needs can participate in exams but instead of an accredited certificate we reward them with a ‘congratulatory achievement’ certificate of participation.
We are an established Dance Academy based in Ware, Hertfordshire, offering term-time classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Commercial and Musical Theatre.
